Is Exir having its own facilities in China or are they trading?
Exir has its own production facilities in Wuxi, from where we deliver complete products to our Customers. The factory is located in the middle of Yangtze River Delta in the Shanghai area, which is the most well-know supplier area in China.
How big is Exir's production plant?
Exir’s facilities are 8500 sqm of which 7000 sqm is production related area.
How many employees does Exir have?
At the moment, Exir has about 130 employees.
Is Exir certified to some extent?
Exir is certified according to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 13485. Furthermore, Exir’s factory is registered and following the procedures according to FDA and certified to manufacture products with ETL requirements by Intertek.
What is the difference between Exir and Chinese contract manufacturers?
Exir has Swedish Management in the factory with great experience of working in China and transferring products from Europe and the US to local Chinese conditions. The main reason for having this asset is that we want to maintain efficient processes and meet the Western requirements in a controlled manner. In the meantime, our Management gives us the possibility of keeping good communication with our Customer’s and helps overbridge cultural differences.

What is Exir's experience in handling and transferring products?
We have more than 20 years’ experience of transferring products from the Western World to China. We currently have experience of transferring electronical, mechanical and electromechanical products within the industries of Meditech, Telecom, Industrial Vacuum Cleaning, Air Handling, Dehumidification, Automotive etc.
What Engineering-support can Exir offer?
Exir has a technology department that can support you with product advice, design and development of new products or refurbishment of your current line. Exir also has experienced manufacturing engineers that will support in the transfer of production from yours to Exir’s facility.
